Break-A-Leg Productions at Pomfret School
Break-A-Leg Productions
A Children's Theatre Production Company (ages 8-18)

In 1996, a group of parents formed Break-A-Leg Productions in an effort to provide a quality theatrical program for youths in Northeastern Connecticut and its surrounding area. The program was originally housed at Quinnebaug Valley Community College in Dayville, Connecticut and ran one performance each summer season. Eventually, growth demands lead Break-A-Leg in the direction of Pomfret School, located in Pomfret, Connecticut. Pomfret School's auditorium schedule allowed the program to expand their season; incorporating Shakespeare, non-musicals, summer camps, and much more. The program has experienced many changes since 1996 and after a short hiatus, Break-A-Leg kicked off its 2002 Season with Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat and has been up and running at full steam ever since with five shows per season.

Break-A-Leg Productions continues its mission to offer excellent, accessible musical theatre opportunities for youths in Northeastern Connecticut and the surrounding areas, focusing on the highest level of professional standards and offering a positive environment to learn teamwork, communications skills and the opportunity to experience pride of accomplishment. There is nothing more exciting than the energy that a young person brings to the arts and the stage. We hope Break-A-Leg empowers the youths it touches to be artists, patrons, and aficionados of the future‚ guaranteeing the spirit and permanence of all the arts.

We invite you to become part of the Break-A-Leg Family. We are always looking for volunteers, patrons, young actors, and donors. We are ever so grateful to all who support Break-A-Leg Productions. If you are interested in becoming involved, please contact Carl Mercier.
